Why agar art? It blends both art and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Your teen who loves STEM doesn’t just need those hard science skills; they also need to learn how to think creatively. Creative thinking can help aspiring scientists with problem solving, which is a big skill for anyone interested in STEM.
Using a petri dish as a canvas, your high schooler will receive guidance and instruction from our teacher on scientific tools to draw and paint with bacteria. Before your teen creates their microbial masterpiece, our teacher will guide them on how to sketch and design for agar art.
The result? Mesmerizing artwork that puts the “Art” in STEAM.
