Digital Drawing Classes for Teens

Request a Trial Class

In our Digital Drawing Classes for Teens, 8th through 12th graders learn different styles of digital drawing and painting. Students explore digital art tools to bring their ideas to life on screen. They’ll learn drawing techniques, layering, and coloring while developing their own style. Perfect for teens who want to combine creativity with technology and build skills for modern art and design.

Drawing experience is recommended for students to create more complex and unique pieces. Students take the skills that they learn and implement them in whatever direction they like. Many students use the work they create in this class as supplemental pieces for their college art portfolios.

Digital Drawing Teen 2: Character & Scenery Design

Digital Drawing Teen 2: Character & Scenery Design

Our Digital Drawing Teen 1: Introduction class introduces students to Adobe Photoshop, progressing from essential tools and functions to more intermediate techniques. Along the way, students develop foundational artistic skills, learning not simply to copy what they see, but to use their imagination and ideas to create something original.

Through a variety of creative projects and exercises, students learn how to develop their own projects, so that they learn how to not just do assignments but to create from their own passion. The result, each project becomes very personal, unique, and different from their classmates’ work. With small class sizes and individualized guidance, students build both their digital skills and confidence as young artists.

No prerequisite course is required.

Digital Drawing Teen 2: Character & Scenery Design

Our Digital Teens 2: Character & Scenery Design class builds on students’ digital art skills through more advanced Adobe Photoshop techniques and artistic concepts. Students create polished, dynamic projects exploring character design, anatomy, composition, scenery, and visual storytelling, while developing a stronger understanding of the elements of design.

Projects are designed to challenge students creatively and technically, including portfolio-focused pieces and selected art contest projects. With very small class sizes and personalized one-on-one guidance, students refine their artistic skills, develop their own unique style, and create work they can be proud to include in a college application portfolio.

Digital Teen 1: Intro as a prerequisite course is required.
